CBD Tinctures

What CBD Tinctures are

CBD Tincture is fairly new to the market and has a very effective Cannabidiol content. It comes in a liquid form often contained within an eye dropper bottle. Our Tinctures are made by adding pure CBD isolate to MCT Coconut Oil. By creating tincture this way, we are able to produce a much better taste whilst delivering a purer form of CBD to our customers. This is because we are able to precisely measure the CBD and add it to the solution. In most cases, tinctures are made by soaking the hemp in chemical solvents such as alcohol in order to extract the CBD. This is a much less reliable method and could generate far less accurate CBD content per mg. Our Tincture ensures you get 1 full gram (1,000 mg) of CBD per bottle, this time, and every time.

If you're wondering why your CBD Oil Tincture is clear, it is because Coconut MCT Oil is clear. If you're familiar with a darker brownish looking CBD oil, you have likely been buying Hempseed Oil. The only issue we have with the Hempseed variety is that we found that most customers did not like the bitter after-taste of taking Hempseed Oil. Therefore, we decided to give customers a product that they would actually enjoy taking. At Eden's Herbals, we don't mind being different, just as long as the customer is happy!

How Is CBD Used

When a person takes the CBD compound directly from the dropper it is best to put the drops under the tongue. The drops should stay under the tongue for about one minute so the body can absorb the liquid. The body absorbs the tincture faster by putting it under the tongue instead of mixing it with any food or drink.

The sublingual artery under the tongue will absorb the tinctures and then it will travel to the external carotid artery and then travel to the internal carotid artery and lastly find its way to the brain. Through this mechanism, the effects of cannabinoid compounds can be felt in about fifteen minutes.

Average CBD Dosing

The oil should be taken in very small doses as it is concentrated. It comes with an mL dropper in the bottle so people can measure their doses. Don't worry about taking too much, it won't harm you. However, we always recommend first time users begin small and work their way up. Most people do not need a huge amount in order to get relief. If a small dose does not give the person any relief then he or she can just take another drop or two. Everyone is different and doses tend to vary from person to person.

To gauge your proper dosage the individual should take into consideration the concentration of the oil used, the individual's weight, the individual’s body chemistry and the severity of the condition being treated. Dosage amounts will shift throughout a person's lifetime.

Do not go by what a friend is taking for a dosage. Individuals are all made differently. It will depend on what medication, supplements and other things that you put in your body as to what dosage is best for you. Start with an initial dosage that is based on your weight. See how your body reacts to the first dosage. If you feel you need more, then add a dose gradually and continue monitoring your bodies reaction. You will be able to find the right dosage that works for your situation by adding just a little at a time.

Insomnia is suffered by many individuals of every age. It is a sleep disorder that is very common throughout the population. As one gets older the sleeping pattern of people changes and so does the chemical imbalance in a person’s body. It is caused by prescription medication and each individual’s medical condition. Our bodies flush out toxins and restore themselves while we sleep. For seniors, it is more important that they get plenty of sound sleep.

CBD Supplement Replacement

When someone becomes ill, the first line to healing is usually giving that person medical supplements. They may give the person some relief but often the supplement needs to be increased and that can cause dependency and further health problems for the individual. By the time one figures out that their supplement is creating other problems, it is usually too late. The body becomes adapted easily and now the person is in need of that supplement for continued relief.

People are often given many different kinds of medical supplements for various health conditions. They take their medications faithfully and then become dependent on them.

The cannabinoid compounds such as CBD can alleviate problems caused by other supplements and in a lot of cases, can stop the dependencies that have been created. Patients who took cannabinoid compounds for seven days, had no addictive behaviors and patients who were followed for five months had no relapses.

Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s patients may be helped by the oil because it interacts with the central nervous system and receptors in a person’s brain.

The oil can relax the mind, lessen stress and improve cognitive functions. These three things play a big part in a person’s mood. For senior citizens, it can be very frustrating to have all this stress every day. Many times, seniors have to deal with being alone and doing their daily chores alone. The oil can help to change the way they feel and help them to cope with everyday life.
